Denise has been the Director, Ethics and Compliance for Health Net Federal Services since 2019 and is the Acting Interim Compliance Officer for the organization. She is responsible for ensuring Health Net Federal Services has an effective Ethics and Compliance program, which encompasses communications, training, risk management, auditing and monitoring, code of conduct, helpline, contract proposal participation, conflict of Interest management, program effectiveness, and policy management.
Prior to her Director role, Denise served in key compliance, legal and other roles within the Health Net family for the past 15 years. Such roles included Manager of regulatory change management and oversight of regulatory implementation.
Before Health Net Federal Services, Denise served 17 years at Genworth Financial (Formerly AMEX) in various positions, with
increasing levels of responsibility. Those roles included Manager of legal and compliance, Manager of auditing and monitoring, Agent licensing and contracting, training, policy and procedures and Six Sigma Greenbelt.
Denise is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCS) and represents Health Net Federal Services in the Defense Industry Initiative (DII) Working Group.
Denise completed her Paralegal studies at Sonoma State University and is actively pursuing her Bachelors of Science in Health Care Administration.
